So I just had one of the most batshit insane ideas of all time but it's so insane I think it could genuinely be fucking GODLY.

Anyway, onto the idea!

Everland, a hyper-advanced VRMMORPG you only have to pay once for.

Yeah, this is gonna be batshit.

So, first I'll take a deep dive into the tech.

The VR technology will be extremely advanced, with motion capture (feat. haptic feedback), an omnidirectional treadmill that responds to your every move, an exosuit/harness/whatever-the-fuck that allows for motion tracking and capture and, because why not, tactile feedback, so you can FEEL the game world.

Now, into the game's software.

First of all, proximity chat, because every game needs it, but not just any proximity chat; clean and realistic proximity chat. So if you shout, you shout. Also maybe add mouth tracking for that. Maybe an AI dictating the technical part of the game as well, giving you quests, suggestions, all that normal MMORPG shit, but also making NPCs and enemies smart. NPCs and enemies are self-aware and remember you. So don't fucking steal from them if you don't want an ass whooping.

Whew. With that insane shit out of the way... character customisation.

So there's about 20 different races and 15 different classes (mentioned in the doc), but also an aggressively robust appearance customisation system because why the fuck not? And no, you probably won't be able to fuck in-game, you have to be in the real world to do that. Now, onto the actual character customisation.

Races

• Humans (can do pretty much anything)
• High Elves (good with brainpower tasks)
• Wood Elves (nimble little fuckers, even better when tree)
• Dark Elves (good in the dark)
• Dwarves (physically extremely powerful)
• Halflings (bullshit dexterity)
• Orcs (berserkers, pretty much)
• Goblins (orcs, but with more focus on brainpower)
• Fairies (flight and magic and that's pretty much it)
• Giants (just big-ass, strong-ass humans)
• Gnomes (good as engineers and craftsmen)
• Trolls (basically just stupid giants)
• Beastfolk (basically humans, wood elves, etc. with other bonuses)
• Merfolk (basically underwater fairies)
• Dragonkin (awesome, tanky, awesome, dragons, awesome)
• Vampires (weak as fuck in daylight, overpowered under the moon)
• Angels (walking daylight and celestial magic)
• Demons (the exact opposite of angels)
• Robots (oh, they also feel pain and emotion now)
• Werebeasts (shift between other races and beast form)
• Amoeba (sentient slimes with growth potential, pretty much)
• Martians (also little green men, but anyway)
• Precursors (that look like insectoids for some ungodly reason)

Classes

• Adventurer (just a normal guy)
• Warrior (Adventurer but melee)
• Gladiator (fights for money, I guess)
• Paladin (religious Warrior)
• Soldier (Warrior with guns)
• Marine (Soldier but Warhammer 40K style)
• Rogue (pretty much just steals everything)
• Scout (best for stealthy builds)
• Ninja (Rogue but optimized for violence)
• Archer (Scout or Ninja with a bow)
• Gunner (Scout or Ninja with a gun)
• Sniper (Scout or Ninja with a sniper rifle)
• Healer (you get the idea)
• Mage (you should get it by now)
• Engineer (I don't even need these fucking brackets)
• Hunter (Adventurer but specifically for monster hunting)

Well, now that that's... that, let's move on to everything else.

Players will drive the economy and try not to go insane in the process. They'll also, of course, be a part of factions, further divided into guilds, which may go to war if they so please. Players can also buy houses in-game (no, not with real money, there are no microtransactions). And raid bosses will also appear and whoever finds it starts the raid event because yeah, fuck peace. Not to mention some of the NPCs might fall in love with players and become even more self-aware to the point of knowing they're in a game and actually wishing they were real... under the influence of the AI.

...yeah, fuck it, I'll elaborate because why the fuck not?

First of all, we'll need roster changes because that's kinda a thing for sequels. And as a start, we should add Darnell, because it's fuckin' Darnell we're talking about here. As for other Pico characters, I'd say add Otis and Hanzo, because why not? Let's also remove the Grunt (or not, depending on what MindChamber thinks) and add Deimos and Tricky. Deimos, because the Dedmos Adventure sorts gave him insane moveset potential and Tricky because fuck yeah. As for more Tankmen characters, why not add Steve and Private Skittles? And for newcomer series? First of all, we need to add Boyfriend from Friday Night Funkin' because he's another Newgrounds icon at this point, and maybe Girlfriend as well, seeing as how Rushdown Rivals handled her well. There's also the argument of adding Son from Dad 'n Me (again, Rushdown Rivals helped with this descision) and Strawberry Clock, maybe Bitey of Brackenwood, Angry Faic (because why not) and maybe Henry Stickmin, Ellie Rose and Charles Calvin, all three from the Henry Stickmin games. Oh, and Edd (thank god I remembered). As for definite cuts, I was thinking Alloy, Convict (or at least a demotion) and Fancy Pants. And overhauls, Piconjo (mostly morphing him into "canon" Piconjo), Hank (adding MAG Hank as a transformation), Samurai Asshole (no gun for you) and definitely Alien Hominid (rushdown time).

As for stages I was thinking keep the Training Arena (for Training Mode, in case you're more of a fucking idiot than me, which I doubt), the Portal, Anywhere USA, Piconjo Manor, Pico's School, the Meat Locker, Wartorn and Nevada. I was thinking adding a Japanese Temple for Samurai Asshole's stage. And maybe a Downtown stage, a Rooftop stage and a Simulation Battle stage (Rushdown Rivals). Maybe also adding the Forest from Brackenwood, the Airship from Henry Stickmin and a shit-ton of other stages like West Philly, The Auditor's Hell, the Theatre, Hating Simulator (Week 6 from FNF), the Toppat Base, Edd's House and maybe an original stage (let's say, The End).

And game modes? Hoo, boy, this is gonna get complicated. I'm thinking Training Mode (for obvious fucking reasons), Versus (including Timed, Stock, Gold, Bonus Points, Stamina and Rotations) Tournament, Games (including Target Breaker, Board the Platforms, Sticker Snag, Race to the Finish, Home Run Contest, Multi-Man Versus (including 10-Man, 30-Man, Century, 3-Minute, 15-Minute, Rival, Forever, Cruel and All-Star) and Boss Battles), Story Mode, All-Star Versus and Online (including With Friends, With Anyone, Arena, Spectate, Online Tournament and Conquest (based on said gamemode from Smash 4)).

So, uhhhh, thoughts?

I just discovered this while looking for FNF mods to play. Holy shit.

An animated series with Newgrounds characters BUT animated in a game engine. I'm not joking, I want to animate something in a game engine like fucking GDevelop or some shit like that. Call me fucking insane. I do not give a shit. This is probably my smartest idea yet (and considering my streak of creativity in real life, it's saying something). Sooooo drawing animating and tweening body parts separately should work.

I probably know what's gonna come from this (a mix of "GENIUS!" and "dude what the actual fuck is this") but I'm gonna ask anyway: what do you think?

Basically a giant-ass crossover fighting game with a shitload of Newgrounds characters. I know this has already technically been done with like 12 characters (Newgrounds Rumble; 13 if you count the joke- I mean Henchman) but I'm thinking one with like 30-40 characters. You fucking heard me, bigger than Melee, Brawl sized, Super Smash Flash-like fun! Don't kill me.
